This seems to have been fixed with loader 0.18.x.

I’ve made some updates to the first post, and it’s important that anyone editing it understands the changes.

  1. Limitless doesn’t seem to exist any more, so I’ve removed it.
  2. The post now contains a blob of JSON that will be used by Cozy as a source of truth for detecting incompatible mods. It’s important that this is kept up to date when the post is otherwise edited, so I’ve included some information on that near the top of the post. Please be sure to read it!

0.18.1 is stable now, so we’re flagging Charmonium as startup crashing after 0.17.

BigBeacons mod for 1.19.2 is incompatible. Will not launch when mod is installed.

RPG Difficulty is incompatible on all versions and there are no plans to fix it Crash on Startup (Quilt) · Issue #39 · Globox1997/RpgDifficulty · GitHub

On 1.19.4, Horse Stats Vanilla and Snow Under Trees (Fabric) seem to be incompatible with each other with Quilt (no such problem with Fabric), both on 0.18.10 and 0.19.0-beta.13. The game launches fine the first time, but after that crashes on launch with this error:

Semitranslucency (Semitranslucency Fix - Minecraft Mod) and Codex (Codex - Minecraft Mod)

Shimmer doesn’t support Quilt at the moment, causing a crash on startup due to java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "net.minecraft.class_2960.method_12836()" because the return value of "net.fabricmc.fabric.api.resource.IdentifiableResourceReloadListener.getQuiltId()" is null.

The dev stated, that they don’t plan on supporting Quilt until it’s out of beta: Quilt incompatibility · Issue #32 · Low-Drag-MC/Shimmer · GitHub

1.20 versions of appleskin, lighty, and client side noteblocks are incompatible with quilt; all 3 expect fabricloader 0.14.21, but the latest version of quilt presents itself as 0.14.19

On MC v1.19.2, Extended Block Shapes crashes the game on startup (its required dependency Better Runtime Resource Pack works fine on its own)

The full crash log is on the GitHub issue I opened.

Issue with Repurposed Structures. The issue itself seems to already be known about.

That crash report contains the 1.19.4 version of Enhanced Mob Spawner, not 1.19.2. Try downgrading to this file: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/enhanced-mob-spawners/files/4326062

It works, thanks. I’ll take down my post.

Hey I am not sure if I am putting this in the right place, but I saw that you said essential should work fine (other than with modmenu), but it seems that the multiplayer/ world connecting is not working with quilt. I can provide more information if needed!

I’m unsure if I’m posting this in the right area, but I wanted to point out that Semitransluency Fix (now called Translucency Fix as of the latest version, 2.0.0) is working on Quilt. The author also stated they added Quilt support with version 2.0.0 in their changelog.

William Wythers’ Overhauled Overworld crashes on startup due to it mixing into and accessing Fabric internal classes.
